EXPERIENCE
Laura received her Master's of Social Work degree at the University of Illinois in 2015. Since then, she has gained experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health services, working with a variety of populations.
She is a lover of the arts and is flexible in her counseling approach. She is known to utilize narrative therapy, which includes the empowerment of one taking ownership of their own story through writing or other art forms, as well as cognitive-behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy and more. As an eclectic therapist, Laura pulls from several different counseling styles to tailor a healing plan to each individual client.
